Pros:
Entertainment.
From the moment we boarded the NCL cruise to the moment we arrived back home we had the time of our lives, the staff - all of the staff, we so friendly and caring, all of our needs were catered to. We will cruise NCL every time we can cruise, I highly recommend this cruise line to everyone...

Great Experience.
by Jud from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Sailing date:
Nov 2006
Pros:
Its' ambience.
This was my first cruise and while I wasn't quite sure what to expect, I was overwhelmed with the whole experience. The accommodations, the food, the staff....all were great. Even the cabin was more comfortable and roomy than I thought it would be.

Superior flexibility.
by Nelson from Metairie, LA

Pros:
The variety of the upscale dinning.
The freestyle dinning was ideal for accomodating our infant grandchild who often required us to modify the timing of our meals.

Great rooms/friendly staff.
by James from Charlotte, NC
Sailing date:
Jun 2007
Pros:
Bars/lounges.
Our room was an inside suite, but it was much bigger than we thought it would be. The entertainment and food could have been a little better. However, the staff was excellent. It was great to eat whenever and wherever you wanted. Overall, it was a great cruise.

Ketchikan is beautiful. We took the local bus to Totem Bight. It was only $2 roundtrip and saved us $50 on a taxi. Ketchikan is a beautiful city to just walk around and explore. Do the walking tour on your own. It was a little rainy but we were prepared.
Don't Miss:
Totem Bight.
Juneau, Alaska
There wasn't much to do in Skagway. We took the train ride in Skagway since there isn't much else to do in the city. We wanted to go to Haines, but didn't have the time. This city is probably the smallest out of the 3 and probably has the least to do in the acutal city. The train ride was beautiful. We saw some black bear, goats and eagles along the way. Sit on the left side if you want to go on the train.
Don't Miss:
Train/ Haines.
Ketchikan, Alaska
A beautiful day in Juneau. We took a helicopter ride with Coastal Helicopters and landed on the Hebert glacier. The pilot was excellent and the scenery was spectacular. We chose this company because it was one of cheapest and we could tell why. They were very disorganized and had a bunch of high school kids as employees. I would definitely recommend the helicopter ride but with another company.
Don't Miss:
Helicopter ride on a glacier.
Cruise Sawyer Glacier
Vancouver is a great city. We rented a car in Vancouver and drove around Stanley Park. We saw some wildlife and beautiful scenery. We also drove up to the Lynn Cannon Park which has a suspension bridge very high up!
Don't Miss:
Stanley Park/ shopping.

Great Service, but few choices for veget
by Jasmine from Burlington, VT
Sailing date:
Mar 2007
Pros:
The gym.
We had a great time for the few days that we were on the ship (an airline mishap prevented us from reaching the ship for embarktion, and we missed four of our seven days). The staff was extremely kind and got us checked in quickly and to our rooms fast enough so that we could still go on our 8:30 shore excursion. They were all very kind, and the professional manner of the restaraunt staff was amazing. Unfortunately, many of the specialty restaurants offered little or no vegetarian options. The menu at each restaurant stayed the same throughout the week, so had we been on for the whole trip, the food selection would have gotten a little boring. Overall a good experience.

We plan to cruise again.
by Jane from Melrose, MA

Pros:
Compact. Le Bistro was NOT near an area which promoted cigar smoking.
Unsure of what to expect, we were cautiously optimistic. We loved the Norwegian Sun.
