Awesome Cruise!!
by A Traveler from Haymarket, VA
Sailing date:
May 2010
Pros:
We loved Castaway Cay the most -- it is so beautiful and you feel like you are on your own island!!
Cons:
Nassua is much more tourist oriented than when i was there in 2000. I was not impressed with the authentic shopping area in the port. We loved Atlantis!!
This was our first Disney Cruise and I have to say that I was totally impressed with the ship and the crew, EVERYONE on the ship help you in anyway possible from taking your trays to your table at breakfast, to talking to the kids and helping you with them if they are having a little melt down!! The crew is fantastic!! There is so much to do on the ship and the kids had plenty of fun to keep them busy. My niece went with me, she is 13 years old and my son is 3 years old. Both of them were able to do the kids activities and my niece was also able to participate in the teen activities. They had a great time.

Staff was GREAT! Best customer service I have seen on a cruise. Staff go way above and beyond and smile and are very playful with children.
Entertainment & Activities
Lots of acitiviies. One day our ship was not able to dock due to weather conditions and the staff had new acitivies and schedules printed in less than one hour and kept the entire energy of the ship going in a positive manner. Everyone still had fun on board.
Children's Programs
My son LOVED the oceaneers club and lounge. When I went to pick him up he never wanted to leave. The staff was also very good about following strict policies when picking up children in a safe manner. deck parties were really fun and the fireworks wera a real treat! LOVE DISNEY!!

A Magical Cruise aboard the Disney Wonde
by MES from Nashville, TN
Sailing date:
Jan 2010
Pros:
The meals were the best! The shows were fantastic1 Their private island was magical!
Cons:
Nothing
This was my grandchildren's first cruise and they were just enthralled by the whole experience. They just loved the Oceaneers' Club and Lab and wanted to be there instead of with us. The rotating dining experience with the waitstaff accomapnying us was truly delightful. We cannot wait to plan our next cruise aboard the Disney ships!!

Simply Magical
by Ricky C. from Orlando, Florida
Sailing date:
Dec 2009
Pros:
Dining - the food was amazing, specifically Palo
The Disney Wonder was simply fantastic. The crew, the accomodations, the dining, all exceeded my expectations, which were already high because it is after all Disney.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
The ship was easy to navigate, there are signs clearly posted everywhere. It was Disney clean and the decor was a consistent theme and was simply breathtaking.
Dining/Food
We had second seting, which was not that great, but the food was amazing. The first ting everyone should do when they board is make a reservation at Palo's. Our only negative was Parrot Cay, which we did not really enjoy, but every other restaurant was outstanding.
Stateroom Quality
Large, comfortable, Deluxe stateroom with Verendah.
Ship Staff Quality
Simply execellent. Our server's were fantastic, by the end of the cruise they were almost anticipating what I wanted, and were always right there, but not intrusive.
Entertainment & Activities
Disney Dreams is a great show. The other two shows were BRoadway quality and very good. There is a wide range of options available for everyone and all top quality.

A fabulous cruise
by A Traveler from United States
Sailing date:
Jul 2009
Pros:
The Disney shows
Cons:
The crowds
We had a great time. My daughter is a teen and the events they have for kids are wonderful. She came home with a list of new friends. Also, the Disney staff make sure all kids are safe and happy. I can't say enough about how much fun we had. I enjoyed the adults only portions of the cruise. We had just the right mix of family time and alone time. Thanks Disney! You are always a great host.

Pros:

Cons:

Beautiful decor, easy to navigate. The best family vacation with extended family
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Room attendant great..feather pillows, comfy beds. Veranda...priceless.
Dining/Food
Rotating restaurants with same servers is brilliant. the food was delicious, and the do accomidate special requests. Wish there was an option between "kid's meal" and gourmet.
Stateroom Quality
Rooms were beautiful, and comfy. We were in 6584 & 6586, and thought they were adjoining. NO THEY ARE NOT. Luckily not traveling with young kids
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone is helpful and smiling.
Entertainment & Activities
Disney shows were unbelievable. Nothing less than you see in theaters and parks. Didn't go to "UP", our group not under 12.
Children's Programs
Our youngest were a 16 and 1 year old girls. There is a big difference in them and 13 year old boys. They tried the Loft 3 times but had to leave due to it being too childish and roudy young boys. That left them out as they are not allowed to go to any of the evening clubs, even with adults (piano bar?).

Don't Miss:
Don't miss snorkling!!! Its great!
Nassau, Bahamas
We visited this island before and were not impressed. The people will not stop bugging you for hair braids, car rides, etc. We spent the day on the ship. Would rather be at Castaway Cay for 2 days

Our First Disney Cruise
by Liz H. from Naples, FL
Sailing date:
Apr 2009
Pros:
All of it. It's Disney. It's magical.
Cons:
I can't think of anything we didn't like.
We recently sailed on the Disney Wonder, and I have to say that it truly was a magical time. As we walked around the ship, we ran into several Disney characters, who were always willing to stop for photographs and to sign autograph books. For dinner, we were assigned to a different restaurant each night, but we still had the same waiters throughout the duration of our cruise. I felt this was such a great concept because it gave us the opportunity to dine at the different restaurants, which were all great. The entertainment on the ship was unbelievable, especially the live shows in the main theatre. One night at a pirate themed pool party, we watched a spectacular fireworks display. It was incredible! I also have to mention the staff on the Disney Wonder were so friendly and attentive. We truly enjoyed our trip and plan on cruising again with Disney Cruise Line. I have to end by saying that Disney Cruises are not only for children, but for us big kids too.

Castaway Cay was fun. The characters were there dancing and having fun with everyone. There are alot of different activities to do, from snorkeling to parasailing to jet skies and paddle boats.
Nassau, Bahamas
We went on the Nassau Dolphin Encounter and had a wonderful time. The boat ride over to the Lagoon was great. It gave us an opportunity to see the beautiful homes and the rest of the island that you can't see on foot.
