1st time cruise with family by
A Traveler from Sebastian, fl Sailing date: May 2009Pros: relaxation and service Cons: rooms not really adjoining... Beautiful decor, easy to navigate. The best family vacation with extended family Ship QualityRoom attendant great..feather pillows, comfy beds. Veranda...priceless. Dining/FoodRotating restaurants with same servers is brilliant. the food was delicious, and the do accomidate special requests. Wish there was an option between "kid's meal" and gourmet. Stateroom QualityRooms were beautiful, and comfy. We were in 6584 & 6586, and thought they were adjoining. NO THEY ARE NOT. Luckily not traveling with young kids Ship Staff QualityEveryone is helpful and smiling. Entertainment & ActivitiesDisney shows were unbelievable. Nothing less than you see in theaters and parks. Didn't go to "UP", our group not under 12. Children's ProgramsOur youngest were a 16 and 1 year old girls. There is a big difference in them and 13 year old boys. They tried the Loft 3 times but had to leave due to it being too childish and roudy young boys. That left them out as they are not allowed to go to any of the evening clubs, even with adults (piano bar?).

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)Love the island!!! So much to do, but so little time! I would love to go back again!! We went for a bike ride and did some snorkling!
Don't Miss: Don't miss snorkling!!! Its great! Nassau, BahamasWe visited this island before and were not impressed. The people will not stop bugging you for hair braids, car rides, etc. We spent the day on the ship. Would rather be at Castaway Cay for 2 days

  Our First Disney Cruise by
Liz H. from Naples, FL Sailing date: Apr 2009Pros: All of it. It's Disney. It's magical. Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like. We recently sailed on the Disney Wonder, and I have to say that it truly was a magical time. As we walked around the ship, we ran into several Disney characters, who were always willing to stop for photographs and to sign autograph books. For dinner, we were assigned to a different restaurant each night, but we still had the same waiters throughout the duration of our cruise. I felt this was such a great concept because it gave us the opportunity to dine at the different restaurants, which were all great. The entertainment on the ship was unbelievable, especially the live shows in the main theatre. One night at a pirate themed pool party, we watched a spectacular fireworks display. It was incredible! I also have to mention the staff on the Disney Wonder were so friendly and attentive. We truly enjoyed our trip and plan on cruising again with Disney Cruise Line. I have to end by saying that Disney Cruises are not only for children, but for us big kids too. Ship Quality

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)Castaway Cay was fun. The characters were there dancing and having fun with everyone. There are alot of different activities to do, from snorkeling to parasailing to jet skies and paddle boats.
Nassau, BahamasWe went on the Nassau Dolphin Encounter and had a wonderful time. The boat ride over to the Lagoon was great. It gave us an opportunity to see the beautiful homes and the rest of the island that you can't see on foot.

The best cruiseline for families and chi by
Emilio from Miami, FL Sailing date: Jun 2007Pros: Bringing the Disney magic on a cruise and its focus on family oriented activities. Everything, from the stateroom to the dining experience to the onboard activities and shore excursions, was all top-notch. My family and I are already planning our next Disney cruise, but this time, we're going on a 7 day cruise. Entertainment & Activities
Entertainment: Good quality shows as you would expect from Disney.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)Castaway Cay with Disney Magic.
The moment you get off the ship you see a full size replica of the The Flying Dutchman from the Pirates of the Carribean movies. Then you encounter many Disney characters all in beach gear. Plenty of photo opportunities. All the beach chairs were perfectly laid out and conveniently located. The food was very good.
Nassau, BahamasThe Atlantis Resort was great.
With the water park and aquarium, Atlantis offers many activity options to do with kids.

  Overall a wonderful experience. by
Heidi from Noorvik, AK Sailing date: May 2007Pros: The staff was so helpful, friendly, and wonderful. Except for the disappointment of the lack of pool availability for the youth in my party aged 12 through 17 due to the overcrowding of little kids in the two public pools and not being allowed into the adult pool, this cruise was a wonderful first-time experience, one I would love to repeat in the future and one I highly recommend to other families. Castaway Cay was the highlight and we all wished we could have another day there. Our waiters in the dining rooms were awesome, and none of us will soon forget them! Entertainment & Activities
