Dsiney Cruise

Pros:
Food and Service at the dining room
Cons:
The Cruise
This cruise was nothing that I expected. I thought the characters would be walking around and the children would have alot of interaction time and it was not like that at all. It's like going to Disneyland, they are all scheduled and you have to wait in a long line and if the character time is up than you dont get a pictuire. My s3 yr old son got locked in the cabin restroom the lock was broken, it took them 11 rings before guest services answered the phone and another 10 min before someone came to help. The kiddy pool was closed on a sea day from 11a to 5p. Goofy pool to deep for little ones and it was super packed. Not enough acitivities to keep the kids busy pool is alwasy super packed U have to get to the shows 30 min early to make sure to get a seat if not u will not get a seat. We sat in the stairs and then was asked to move..

Ship Clean and nice decor
Dining/Food
Excellent food and service in the dining area
Stateroom Quality
Housekeeper nice and kelpt the room clean. Really liked phones
Ship Staff Quality
Some of the staff around the ship were not very friendly, this is a Disney ship I expected everyone to be super nice.
Entertainment & Activities
Honestly the regular cuise ships like Carnival, ROyal Carribean, Norwegian have way better shows. Schedules that were put up in the lobby for the characters were not good. Alot of parents and I waited more than 45 min for Caoptain Hook in the Gazebo, come to find out he was never coming they told us to follow the stateroom guide. THen y did they post it!
Children's Programs
Good idea, way to overly packed. My grandson was scared to stay, too overwhelming and lots of kids running around and others crying.

We went to swim with the dolphins, we took a taxi and didn;t pay the ship price. Have to be careful, those taxi guys try to get a cut of u going to the park so when u get there they actually charge u a little more than the actual park charges.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
On the beach there are alot of activities to do. Everyone wants your business, if u keep walking u might find a cheaper price. There's jet skiing for about 40 for 30 min, there's parasailing, banana boat. They rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach for 15.

I expected the ship to be a bit more beautiful. It was not very impressive. I also expected more characters and more kid designed restaurants.
Dining/Food
Everything was great except the variety and quality of some of the food.
Stateroom Quality
There was not enough room between the toilet and the tub.

Great time!!
by A Traveler from Haymarket, VA
Sailing date:
May 2010
Pros:
Castaway Cay was a great day!! We went on the glass bottom boat tour and it was a lot of fun!!
Cons:
The shows were not showing on TV so if you didn't feel like going down to the show, you could not watch it in your room.
I was traveling with my Niece who is 39, my great-niece who is 13 and my great-nephew who is 3 years old. We enjoyed the excursions very much and the food was wonderful!! The crew was fantastic!!

Awesome Cruise!!
by A Traveler from Haymarket, VA
Sailing date:
May 2010
Pros:
We loved Castaway Cay the most -- it is so beautiful and you feel like you are on your own island!!
Cons:
Nassua is much more tourist oriented than when i was there in 2000. I was not impressed with the authentic shopping area in the port. We loved Atlantis!!
This was our first Disney Cruise and I have to say that I was totally impressed with the ship and the crew, EVERYONE on the ship help you in anyway possible from taking your trays to your table at breakfast, to talking to the kids and helping you with them if they are having a little melt down!! The crew is fantastic!! There is so much to do on the ship and the kids had plenty of fun to keep them busy. My niece went with me, she is 13 years old and my son is 3 years old. Both of them were able to do the kids activities and my niece was also able to participate in the teen activities. They had a great time.

lovely 7 day cruise
by A Traveler from edmonton
Sailing date:
Jan 2012
Pros:
the food, staff and cleanliness
From the opening welcome to the end of our week the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the printed information each day gave a full review of what to do and where to go. When going off the ship, you were aware of the activities, retail areas and the things one should do to be safe.
Ship Details:
Ship Quality
Not only was the inside clean but they were painting and cleaning the outside too. Everything was spic and span.
Dining/Food
Buffets were full of choices anytime you ate there and in the dining rooms there was also a good choice of foods. Palo restaurant which only cost an extra $20 per person was a first class place to eat- decor and food.
Stateroom Quality
Alex kept our room clean and organized without moving things. The room was tastefully decorated and was very clean. I liked having a balcony and tv on board for the few times when I wanted to be in the room.
Ship Staff Quality
Everyone we encountered on the boat that was employed by Disney spoke to us- even the maintainance staff. They also were helpful and knowledgeable and competent.
