	Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 50 - 65 Cruise Experience: 7+ cruises Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Balcony Awesome Ship by Lee N from St. Petersburg, FL Sailing date: Jan 2011 Pros: The ship itself Cons: The experience at Chops was not the greatest, the steak was great but that was about all I can say. Our 13th cruise and our 7th on RCI. The Allure cannot be missed along with its sister ship the Oasis of the Seas. We were on the 7th voyage of the Allure and the ship is spectacular!!! The food was very good and entertainment (Chicago, Aqua Theater, Blue Planet, and Games on Ice) were superb. The ship is a destination all by it self. Our balcony stateroom was the normal size for RCI and very nicely appointed. The mattress and the shower were the best we have had at sea. Check in was less than 15 min. and our bags arrived at our cabin about 5min after we did, amazing. There were over 8,000 passengers and crew on this ship and you would never know it. Many, many things to do all over this enormous ship. Want to go again. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food As stated before, Chops was a $50.00 disappointment. Tons of activities and night life without massive crowds - the excursions were just right - ship very clean ! Cons: The stateroom mini bar prices. Upon arrival at the ships port, from a far distance we were in awe of the massage size of the ship. We arrived on the gangway and when we finally boarded the ship, we entered through the main promenade. WOW! I could not believe that where we arrived was actually the ship! The main promenade was exciting and beautiful! We really enjoyed the activities; there was so much to do! The food was very deliicious, and the service was wonderful. Our stateroom was very clean and we loved our view of the ocean. I was very happy to relate my experience of the cruise to my friends and family. Ship Details: Ship Quality Wow! That was my thought when we boarded the ship through the main promenade. Dining/Food The food was excellent! The main diningroom was beautiful. Stateroom Quality Even though our stateroom was a little smaller than our last cruise, I was very pleased with the decor and the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. Ship Staff Quality Very friendly and courtious. Entertainment & Activities Loved the ice show and aqua show. like the variety of activities. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Singles/friends Stateroom Type: Inside The best vacation ever by thema n from maryland Sailing date: Mar 2012 Pros: Plenty of delicious food, great service, wonderful excursions in the sun, plenty of fun on the ship Cons: lost luggage for 30 min after ship's final dock The ship had tons of activities to keep everyone busy for 7 days. The times were set appropriately and I was able to do pretty much everything that I was interested in. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and ready to serve. My room attendant had clean towels and reset the room at a blink of an eye and was very discreet. The ship was spotless and very beautiful. I felt safe on the ship and in the countries were we docked. Plenty of access to hand sanitizer on the ship which was a plus. The shows were amazing and very exciting. The pullout coach was very comfortable and I slept soundly. It was hard to imagine that it actually was a ship cruising through the water and not a city. It is huge, but the interactive signage kept us from getting lost. Central Park is just beautiful, and the Promenade and Boardwalk were attractive and interesting places. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food The food was excellent. It was prepared well and the presentation was very appealing. Stateroom Quality Ship Staff Quality The wait staff in the dining room were outstanding! Our stateroom attendant was very helpful and attended to all of our needs. Even the maintenance personnel responded to our request very quickly. Entertainment & Activities Oceanaria and Blue Planet were wonderful shows. We chose not to attend "Chicago" because of the "R" rating. We enjoyed Jazz on 4 but did not attend the Comedy Shows because of the "blue" humor. However, the vendors have become much more aggressive since that time which made it very difficult to shop. The prices have gone up significantly. We really enjoyed our experience at Poncho's Backyard. The food was very good, the waiters were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable - a welcome change from the walk down the street. Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island) Every activity costs extra and the vendors were so aggressive that it made our family uncomfortable to walk to the beach. Falmouth, Jamaica Not a lot to do now. Cons: the ports...all of them! The ship is truly an amazing, impressive structure! The ports were regrettably a waste of time. Staying on board was better than getting off. Dinner at chops for 30 extra each was the worst meal on ship .glass of wine at champagne lounge was 23 glass and just average .tried to book another specialty meal on interactive tv came up for wrong day ,so I called desk and was told I had to pay cancellation fee! We traveled with 6 other couples 4 of us had been locked out of safes several times ,one time we missed excursion because we couldn't get passport out of safe in time . Ship was amazing. Cons: LEAVING the ship Amazing. We were in awe when we walked on the ship. The ship was much more than we expected. We could not believe the elegance and amineties on the ship. We spent the entire week enjoyng the shows and activities as well as marveling at how it was possible to cruise on a ship with a boardwalk, central park, and grand promonade.. Truly exceptional.
