Served the same food over and over, and selection each day was very limited! Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Stateroom Quality Ship Staff Quality Room attendant did an OK job with the cleaning. The ports were all fine, but it was just the ship. It was very run down and I did not feel like we were treated royally like we have been on our other cruises with Royal Caribbean. We will pay the extra money next time and go on a newer ship. This was my daughters first cruise experience, too, and she said that she'd rather go to the beach again, but not on a cruise. Overall Rating: Majesty of the Seas by Katie B from boston Sailing date: Apr 2013 Pros: The service Cons: the food I went on the Majesty of the Seas with 3 other girlfriends. Overall it was a great experience! We only went for the weekend so it was a short trip. We loved the private island the most and had a great time at the shows at night. I do think that the lunch and dinner could have been a little better. I have been on longer cruises with better food so I wonder if it was just because of the short trip. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 18 - 29 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Oceanview 1 time cruisin' by Lina from Connecticut Sailing date: Mar 2013 Pros: Food, great service Cons: activities I really enjoyed the service I received by staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. The food in the dining hall was delicious and my waiter Mervin was excellent. The rooms were small(I had an ocean view) but I wasn't really expecting it to be big. The good thing was room service kept up with maintaining the room and restocking towels each night which made the room more manageable. The only con was the variety of activities. I went on this cruise with my boyfriend and we found that most activities were targeted towards individuals who are really young and really old. There wasn't much to do in between other than the late night pool party which was a lot of fun. Also, Coco cay was fun but I didn't like my time spent in Nassau. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Couple Stateroom Type: Inside Nice first cruise. by Greg F. from Nashville, TN Sailing date: Feb 2013 Pros: Friendly crew, Cons: Small boat, so not a lot of entertainment choices. This was my first cruise and overall I enjoyed it a lot. There wasn't a lot of evening entertainment that appealed to me, but I'm sure others enjoyed the shows and music. The crew was very helpful and courteous all the time. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Food in the main restaurants was excellent. The wait staff was great. The only downside was that I got food poisoning from eating breakfast at the Windjammer Buffet the morning we departed the ship. Stateroom Quality Ship Staff Quality Great crew. Always willing to help. Entertainment & Activities I would have prefered more options, but that is part of sailing on a smaller ship. I know now that I need to look to the larger vessels if I want more choices. The shows they had were good. We did the All Access tour and it was great. Overall Rating: Great Experience by A Traveler from Madrid Spain Sailing date: Aug 2012 Pros: Ship installation Cons: Too Crowdy The Cruise was very Good. The service was also awesome. Room service the best, Waiters were very busy. Maybe the tickets were oversold and we didn't have a chance to relax inside the ship. Breakfast time was a nightmare because of the crowd. After we'd got out of the ship we had a good time. All destinations were great. Coco cay is amazing for beach lovers. Ship Details: Ship Quality perfect but too many people inside the ship. Dining/Food Good if you follow the waiter's recommendations. the rest of the dishes were ok. Stateroom Quality very good. The responsible of the room was very kind. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 50 - 65 Cruise Experience: 4 - 6 cruises Traveler Type: Family w/older children Stateroom Type: Oceanview Comfortable cruising by Brenda B from Redmond, WA Sailing date: May 2012 Pros: The crew was the most friendly crew we've ever met (this was our 5th cruise) Cons: 9pm dining time...that was a poor choice on our part...it's really too late to eat The ship is not large or opulent, but it was very nice, clean, well maintained, and we could find our way around it after just a few hours. Our stateroom was surprisingly roomy (deck 9) and there was plenty of drawer space and light. The bathroom was fine as well. The food was good...not "to die for", but good. The selections for dinner were a little limited compared to some other cruises we've been on, but, hey, we always found something we liked on the menu. The entertainment was decent, the activities were varied and those we joined in were quite fun. We enjoyed this low key cruise very much, and ranked RCI our #2 of 5 cruise lines we've been on so far.
