Was a very nice experience, except by the fact that no one was waiting for us at the airpot to be transfered to the Port in New York. Nassau was a very beautiful place with nice weather. Don't Miss: To get out there an enjoy the place. Great Stirrup Cay (Cruiseline Private Island), Bahamas Great. The island was unique. The entertainment was unexpectedly excellent and varied. The cruise director was excellent. The food and restaurant service was good but not exceptional. The excursions that we took were very poor. Delayed disembarkation. The ship was late getting into port, then the disembarkation was so mishandled and protracted that our excursion left without many of the travelers. Philipsburg, St. Maarten Tortola, British Virgin Islands Best Excursion - Did our own thing. We didn't go on the ship's excursion because our previous experience was so poor. I have enjoyed using Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have used them several times and I usually find that the service is very good. The price is always an important issue for me as I weigh this heavily in my decisions. With this cruise I was able to find very good ports of call on an excellent vessel at a very affordable price. It rained the whole time. But, we still had a blast. The onboard games were fun, and the one day on the island it was sunny and gorgeous. One of the nicest things about this cruise was leaving New York City. It was in the twenties when we sailed on Sunday night; by Tuesday noon, when we pulled up at Great Stirrup Cay it was approaching eighty. That was sweet! We appreciated the extra days and ports of call. Ship Details: Entertainment & Activities Activities: Fitness center was great. Clean, bright, well equipped. Entertainment: The Second City troupe was fun and funny.
