Great service.
by Ana from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA
Sailing date:

Pros:
The entertainment.
Was a very nice experience, except by the fact that no one was waiting for us at the airpot to be transfered to the Port in New York.

The ship was beautiful.

I did not like that there was not a real 24 hour coffee shop. Closed for 2 hours of cleaning.

Too small of an area for such a large ship.

Unexpectedly excellent entertainment.
by Joe from USA
Sailing date:
Mar 2007
Pros:
Evening entertainment.
The entertainment was unexpectedly excellent and varied. The cruise director was excellent. The food and restaurant service was good but not exceptional. The excursions that we took were very poor.

Entertainment: Excellent variety and talent. Much better than we expected.

Delayed disembarkation. The ship was late getting into port, then the disembarkation was so mishandled and protracted that our excursion left without many of the travelers.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Best Excursion - Did our own thing. We didn't go on the ship's excursion because our previous experience was so poor. We hired a driver on our own and had a nice experience. However, the poverty is depressing.
Don't Miss:
Go to the top of the mountain for the view.

by John from Wappingers Falls, NY

Pros:
Free - style cruising - Not tied down to a schedule.
The entire experience was pleasant and lived up to expectations. The only ddowner was the long lines and waiting time at the New York Departure Pier.

Generally well pleased.
by Lisa from Phila, PA
Sailing date:
Oct 2006
Pros:
Vessel is very new and attractive and the service was very good.
I have enjoyed using Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have used them several times and I usually find that the service is very good. The price is always an important issue for me as I weigh this heavily in my decisions. With this cruise I was able to find very good ports of call on an excellent vessel at a very affordable price.

Pros:
It's casual atmostphere.
It rained the whole time. But, we still had a blast. The onboard games were fun, and the one day on the island it was sunny and gorgeous.

Twenty to eighty degrees in two days.
by A Traveler from Vermont
Sailing date:
Jan 2007
Pros:
Excellent public areas, and nice large showers in the stateroom....
One of the nicest things about this cruise was leaving New York City. It was in the twenties when we sailed on Sunday night; by Tuesday noon, when we pulled up at Great Stirrup Cay it was approaching eighty. That was sweet! We appreciated the extra days and ports of call.

Entertainment & Activities
Activities: Fitness center was great. Clean, bright, well equipped. Entertainment: The Second City troupe was fun and funny. The magician on our cruise was excellent; I felt bad that I missed his table magic seminar ? it was totally packed, should've been moved to a larger room.
