Great time, can't wait to go again by
Mathew C from lewistown PA Sailing date: Sep 2011Pros: Destinatins, service, cleanliness of the ship Cons: lots of people The ship was great, always someone cleaning something. THe cabin staff was great and very freindly as was the waiter for dinner. Lots to do on the ship or nothing at all. We went in September so there were not many kids so that was nice. Great ports of call, the ship always arrived early. The only problem I saw was the number of people on the ship. I realize that this isnt a secret and that I should have known what I was getting into. Some of the buffet lines were very long and getting off and on the boat was a little tiresome with so many other people doing the same thing Ship Qualitygreat ship and staff Dining/Foodthe first night at dinner was a ittle rough but by hte end of the cruise our waiter was amazing Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Qualitysuper friendly and helpful Entertainment & Activities

  A great honeymoon! by
Andrew C. from Warner Robins, GA Sailing date: May 2011Pros: Food, entertainment Cons: Hidden fees This was my first cruise and I REALLY enjoyed it. I was on my honeymoon, and we felt that it was a perfect trip for us! Ship QualityThe ship was big, and clean. The few things I didn't like was the lack of pools and lounging areas on the top of the deck. Chairs were often unavailable in the main parts near the pool area. Wait time for elevators was often several minutes long, with several stops along the way. Dining/FoodThe food was magnificent. The variety of dining options/areas and the cleanliness of those areas was SUPERB! The wait staff in the formal dining area was GREAT! Stateroom QualityOur room was VERY nice, and housekeeping cleaned the room twice a day. Housekeeping would often greet us by name, and were very accommodating to any request we may have had. Ship Staff QualityThe staff was amazing. Every request we may have had was dealt with very kindly and quickly! Entertainment & ActivitiesThe activities team was very friendly, and offered a variety of entertainment options. Butch and his gang were very fun, and entertaining.

Nassau, BahamasHad a GREAT time here. Paradise Island has some incredible beaches.
Don't Miss: We loved renting a scooter and driving around the whole island! Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.We didn't like this island. It is GREAT for those who like to shop, but rather boring and inconvenient to those who don't.
Don't Miss: GREAT shopping for those who like to do that. Philipsburg, St. MaartenLoved the beaches! Although, be careful of stumbling on the "nude beach" on the French side of the island! lol
Don't Miss: The beaches are amazing! 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  Great Time by
Monika K. from Orlando, Fl Sailing date: Apr 2011Pros: FOOD Cons: Elevators Ship is huge, a lot of areas to sit and relax, excellent entertainment, food was great, cons elevators always packed, Ship QualityShip is big, giving you alot of options for activities. Dining/FoodFood was excellent. Stateroom QualityVery comfortable stateroom with balcony on 9th floor, a lot of shelves in the restroom to put away your cosmetics Ship Staff QualityEveryone was great except for the photo clerks that were on deck 4 not willing to help with finding my portrait photos. When asked for help this clerk answered that my Family members must have moved it, and that was not the case. After wards was not willing to print another copy. Entertainment & ActivitiesI have been on two other cruises but this one was the best of all by far.

Belize City, BelizeWent for the Tube Cave Excursion, over priced $99, but it was fun.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexicolast stop for all your shopping big mistake these people trying to rip you off, don't go into shops where there are no pricing display, they will hustle for your money.
Cozumel, MexicoTake a taxi and explore on your own, paid only 13.OO dollars to get to a beach, three people all together. Paid $2 per chair at the beach.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, HondurasGreat snorkeling

  Our best cruise yet! by
A Traveler from Alabama Sailing date: Mar 2011Pros: The food, the staff, the ports Cons: The long lines for food Because we went during Spring Break, the ship was a bit more overloaded with people than other cruises we've been on. Because of this, the lines for food were long. However, we had a great time. Ship Quality

Belize City, BelizeCavetubing is a must!
Costa Maya (Mahahual), MexicoGreat port. Lots of things to do including the pool/bar.
Cozumel, MexicoWe left the port in a taxi to downtown. We were very happy with our shopping there.
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, HondurasThe taxi driver wanted to charge us $15 per person to go to the nearby beach just a few miles away. There wasn't much to do at the port because it is so new.

  beautiful ship by
Julie D from slc ut Sailing date: Aug 2010Pros: steak dinner Cons: long lines for breakfast in the resturants one was always closed---- why? huge but too many people for us(we are in our 60s) but we would prefer a smaller ship with less people Ship Qualityeverything wonderful! Dining/Food
Stateroom Qualitywe had a back of the ship balcony...it was so fantastic, we loved it!!! Ship Staff Qualityour state room man was the very best we have ever had. He was at our becon call everytime we were at our room. His name was Bernie from the phillipines. Entertainment & Activitiesthe magic show was too adult for some children but we enjoyed the act. What a view - what a staff by
Bix from Houston Sailing date: May 2013Pros: The view from our balcony, our steward and the restaurant staff Cons: Was able to choose bacon the first 4 mornings, but was given small portions the last two mornings. The free water avaliable wasn't very good. My wife loved this cruise and will go as often as we can manage. She would have been happy just to sit out on the balcony and watch and hear the ocean while reading a book. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe dining was excellent, but the breakfast could have been more convenient Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff QualityIf available, could rate more stars. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  AMAZING CRUISE by
Gladys D. from Florida Sailing date: Dec 2012Pros: TOO MANY THINGS TO CHOOSE ONE Cons: TOO LITTLE TIME AT EACH DESTINATION Western Caribbean on the Carnival Dream was an incredible trip. Ship was beautiful, staff was incredible, food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. This was our second cruise, but our first 7-day cruise and can't wait to do it again. the weather in December is great for the destinations we visited. It was more than we expected!!!! Ship Qualityloved the space in this ship. There was always space to relax and enjoy the outdoors or enjoy listening to live music inside. The Encore show room was beautiful. This is definitely a fun ship and loved how clean it was kept at all times. Dining/Fooddelicious food:) great variety. Just wished they had more chocolate options in the dining room area. The waiters that took care of us were amazing (we will never forget Thutisa, Crisologo and Mantas. Also Rachel the Hostess). They provided exceptional service. Little important details to me like, bringing coffee to our table the way we liked it, cutting the kids steak, being funny and courteous and extremely accommodating. Just absolutely exceptional staff. Stateroom Qualityvery very comfortable. Plenty of space to store things. Housekeeping crew was wonderful, they kept the room clean at all time and loved the towel designs they made with the towels. We were in the 1st floor(Riviera Deck) and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend staying in one of the middle rooms(you don't feel the rocking of the boat). Ship Staff Qualitywe were very impressed with the staff. They wen't above and beyond our expectations. Guest services was very helpful and the rest of the staff was very informative and always available to answer our questions with a friendly smile. Entertainment & Activitiesall destinations were great. Our least preferred excursion was the Mayan ruins in Cozumel, Mexico. We expected to see pyramids, but there were none in the areas we visited. Cave tubing is a must in Belize. Roatan was our favorite destination. We decided to stay by the beach all day because of the scenery and convenience. Costa Maya was too short of a stay to appreciate, so we stayed in the shops at the port, but still had a great time. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
