Very relaxing and extremely enjoyable. by
Lew P from Bay Area, CA Sailing date: Sep 2012Pros: The crew was professional and attentive. Dining in the Black Pearl met our expectations. The server, Stan, was exceptional and offered menu suggestions at every meal. Cons: ??? Ship's crew, service crew, and the meals were totally enjoyable and attentive. The entertainment was fun. The whole trip seemed like just a few days. 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful.

Had a wonderful and memorable time by
Lisa A from Spokane, Wa. Sailing date: Dec 2011Pros: The staff went out of their way to ensure you were having fun. Cons: One of the cashiers in the store was rude and refused to help. Well, when people say it is pink....it is. The ship itself is well cared for and the art work was nice even though there was an abundance of pink. The staff was amazing and the food was abundant although not always good. Ship QualityVery clean and the decor was very nice. Dining/FoodAlthough I did not enjoy some of the food, there was always something to choose from. Stateroom QualityWe loved our stateroom although it seemed smaller than other ships. Ship Staff QualityEveryone on the ship was fantastic with the exception of one cashier in the shop. Entertainment & ActivitiesThe shows were great and we looked forward to them every night. The comedy shows were not as good. 2 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

  Wonderful cruise by
Laurentia A. from San Diego Sailing date: Oct 2011Everything was very good.
I have only one request for the future cruises. The ship should have a weather news or some information about weather conditions....
We are back home and happy that we are not on the water or cruise ship this week....with this weather conditions.
I hope that this nice ship will respect the no travel zone to Porto Vallarta and keep all the customers safe . Ship Quality

  AN AWESOME FAMILY VACATION!! by
Darrell and Dana G. from Mission Viejo, CA Sailing date: Aug 2011Pros: Fantastic excurions and amazing service on-board. Cons: Can't think of anything! We just returned from 7 days at sea on the Carnival Splendor and we had the time of our lives!! My husband and I cruised with our boys (ages 13 and 18) and my Mom and we ALL had the best time! We absolutely made memories that will last a lifetime! Ship QualityThe "pink circles" didn't bother me, I thought the decor was gorgeous! Dining/FoodThe dining room food and staff was outstanding!! The buffet was typical buffet type of food. We loved the panini grill at the back of the ship. Waffles need some help! Stateroom QualityBed was comfortable and always tidied up by our attendant Arnold! Ship Staff QualityFantastic for the most part! Did run into a couple of people with an attitude, but they were the exception! Entertainment & ActivitiesThe comedy lounge was my kids' favorite part of the trip! The "Vegas-style" shows were good. I didn't like that they played Bingo right before every show.

Puerto Vallarta, MexicoWe loved Puerto Vallarta, we went on the Pirate Adventure that took us to a secluded beach for snorkeling and kayaking. Then, we went to the flea market and had fun bartering with the locals!
Don't Miss: Pirate Ship Adventure...One of the best excursions we have ever done! Cabo San Lucas, MexicoThe first day we went on a shopping tour, and we were disappointed! It was REALLY hot and humid.
Don't Miss: Canyon Canopy ZipLines! Exhausting, but worth it!! 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

  "An Awesome Time" by
Brandon S. from Madera, CA Sailing date: Apr 2011Pros: The cruise staff was amazing. The customer service at Carnival is great. The food, the entertainment, the casino, the shows, all A+ Cons: My only gripe if you call it that is that the Casino didn't have any Wheel of Fortune slot machines. Those are the greatest machines ever. The ship is huge. The first day I was just trying to get my bearings straight with the layout but after that it was clear sailing. There was so much to do we never found ourselves board. I can't wait to go back on another cruise with Carnival. Ship QualityVery clean. In fact the housekeeping staff cleaned our rooms up to 3 times per day. Dining/FoodI pigged out on all the great food and the 24 hour pizza was awesome. So was the free room service. You can't go wrong with it. Stateroom QualityI loved everything about our room and I loved the towel animals. Ship Staff QualityAbsolutely no complaints. I couldn't find a staff that was anything less then the most professional. Entertainment & ActivitiesThere was a ton to do. The shows and comedy club were the best.

Puerto Vallarta, MexicoI loved every second in Puerto Vallarta. There are a ton of things to do. It was great looking at the shops, spending time on the ocean, and kicking it at the beach side restaurants.
Cabo San Lucas, MexicoI wouls say Cabo was average. I wasn't too interested in Cabo to begin with so my opinion might be tainted.
