  Fabulous and relaxing vacation! by
Krista G from United States Sailing date: May 2012Pros: the ship and the service Cons: how long it took to get out of the Mississippi River! I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, awesome vacation. Everything was easy -- from parking at the Julia Terminal to boarding the ship, to the trip itself, to debarking. The glamour and luxury of the ship were exciting. The live music was consistently great, and the staff were wonderful. Ship Quality
Dining/FoodThe serving sizes are rather small, but I consider that a perk. That way I could order multiple appetizers because so much looked delicious! Stateroom QualityWe had a small room, but we knew that when we booked it. Our logic was along the lines of -- what are we doing in the room besides sleeping and showering! Ship Staff QualityAll of the staff were exceptional. Entertainment & Activities

Dannah O from Prairieville, LA Sailing date: Nov 2011Pros: housekeeping, clean Cons: short time We had anytime dining. Had to wait for a beeper to let us know when table was ready. Dining room hostess sent everyong that waited for a table, a plate of gourmet candies. I thought that was very special.

Shannon D from Jemison, AL Sailing date: Sep 2011Pros: Planned activities you could go to or NOT go to. Cons: The smokey casino but I guess that is expected The ship was beutiful and well kept. Ship QualityIt was beutiful and a lot of fun to explore Dining/FoodMore food than you could ever try. If you didn't like something all you had to do was say "Bring me something else" and it was yours. Stateroom QualityDecor seemed a little out of date but over all it was just fine Ship Staff QualityFriendliness is not even the right word for how wonderful the staff teated eveyone. They will do any thing and everything for you. All you have to do is ask. Entertainment & ActivitiesGreat entertainment. You could be as involved as you want or as low key and you would like.

Most excellant, a wonderful experience by
Leo & Audrey M from Washington county Fl Sailing date: Apr 2011Pros: The crew, the service are awesome Cons: The loud neighbors who partied until 3 in the morning The way the ship is kept clean, and how the crew works to ensure everything is down right for the passenengers Ship QualityImpressive how the crew worked to keep the ships appearance up with all the people aboard,
The efficent way the embark and the debark is handled is right on. Dining/FoodThe imagination dining area is the best. The staff, the food the ambiance is top notch Stateroom QualityAll things considered the room was just right for us. Thr ayout, the ease of use. the comfort was spot on. Ship Staff QualityAbive and beyond is a tad short, your crew was on top of it. It seems that they anticipate your very thoughts and atr thrre when you nrrd them. The best Entertainment & ActivitiesThe kids from Mississippi were a treat that really surprised us. Their show was one of the memories we will keep for a lomg time.

A Traveler from Columbus, GA Sailing date: Jun 2010Pros: Activities in Cozmel Cons: The adult comedy was not to midnight. I wish it started at 11 p.m. We took this cruise the second time. First time was with the Holiday and now with the Elation, that's bigger. We loved it and we will go again. It's not to far from the house like other ports. Ship Qualityvery nice ship Dining/Foodgreat food.loved sandwichbar 12 h service Stateroom Qualitynice rooms Ship Staff Qualityvery friendly staff Entertainment & Activitiesnice shows, I liked early/ late shows options. We highly recommend this cruise! by
Sheila M. from Sacramento, CA Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The options for entertainment, food, and relaxation The staff on the ship was very friendly and helpful throughout the cruise. The food was good and there was always something to eat or drink. We didn't take our kids on this cruise, but there are plenty of things fo kids to do on the ship. It was very family-friendly. For adults without kids, there is a great place to spend time during the day and night free of other children. It's the kind of vacation that you can make as expensive or inexpensive as you want, depending on your goal for the trip. The excursions were fun and interesting and the people of Ensenada were friendly. It's great to have the Sail and Sign card so that no cash is needed on the ship. Ship Quality

  A Fantastic Cruise by
Richard and Joan B. from 8840 E. Sunland Ave. Lot #173, Mesa, Az. 85208 Sailing date: Nov 2009Pros: The entire ship's decor on the Elation Cons: having to depart from the ship itself This was our very first cruise. It was above our expectations. When we were waiting to board the ship, it's magnifinance was overwelming and unbelieveable. Once on board, the decor and decorating of the entire ship was amazing and beautiful. Gorgeous colors! We had no problems at all during the entire trip. The service on board was wonderful. Excellent service in all the dining rooms, excellent food. Our stateroom was on the main floor. We originally thought it would be rather small, but we were surprised how big it was. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of closet space etc. Enjoyed the large window rather than a small port hole. Our service and maintenace of our room was superior. Enjoyed the lovely Casino. Plenty of machines for all. The entertainment was excellent . Would highly reccomend this trip to anyone and we hope to sail the Elation or one of her sister ships in the future. The entire staff went beyond the call of duty, so to speak. They were very friendly, courteous, and willing to help with any situation you had. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
